Meet Our Staff
Rob Phillips
Senior Pastor
Rob Phillips has served as our Lead Pastor since June of 2012, and served as our interim pastor leading up to his installation as lead pastor. Rob has a long tenure of ministry experience with several other church and para-church organizations, but his true heart is teaching and discipleship in the local church setting. In 2018 he completed his 20th year of full time ministry. Rob completed his undergraduate work at Trinity College of Florida, and earned his MMin and DMin at Andersonville Theological Seminary. Rob is married to his college sweetheart, Annie, and together they have three children. Rob was raised in Los Angeles California, educated in the South (Florida and Tennessee), and has now spent a collective 13 years in the Northeast. This diverse background has given our pastor a heart for multi-ethnic and multi-generational connections.
Eddy Melendez
Administrative Pastor
Eddy Melendez joined Broadalbin Baptist Church in March of 2019 as Associate Pastor. He has been a resident of the Broadalbin community most of his life. He was formerly an electrician for 16 years before entering the ministry. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2023 in pursuit of God’s calling on his life. He often shares that it is quite a privilege to become a Pastor in a community you love. Married in 2003 to his wife Andrea, he settled down in this community and was blessed with three children along the way. Pastor Eddy comes to us with many years of leadership in the work force. His experience in leading and serving people has been a wonderful blessing to our church ministry.
Paige Uhl
Office Manager
Paige Uhl is our Office Manager. She earned her associate's degree in 2023 and is currently working to earn her bachelor's in marketing. She has lived in Broadalbin for twelve years and has served in her current role for three years. She and her husband, Josh, were married in 2021 and serve together in various capacities within BBC.
Andrea Melendez
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Andrea Melendez is our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, as well as the wife of Pastor Eddy Melendez. She is passionate about the care and nurturing of even our youngest worshippers. She has much experience working with children, and has faithfully homeschooled her three children for many years.
