At Broadalbin Baptist Church, we believe that what we learn at church on Sunday mornings should continue to transform and impact us throughout the week. We want our gathering on Sunday mornings to result in continued conversations and connections within our church body that happen outside the church building. This blog allows our BBC family to continue to grow individually, to be reminded of the truth, and to share what we are learning with others.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7 says, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
This verse serves as the Biblical basis for why we seek to offer ways for our people to review and remember what we have learned at church. It's not about simply attending a service on Sunday morning, but continually allowing the truths of God's Word to be a source of private meditation and a topic of public discussion.
Expect Good Things
Our hope is that in providing this blog as a resource for our church family, you can learn to expect good things as you watch God continue to use His Word to transform and change you into the person He is sanctifying you to become. All posts will be written by members of our leadership team, with the bulk of our weekly blogs being taken directly from Sunday's sermons written by one of our elders.
